The island of Tenerife is the biggest of the Canary Islands. It has fantastic weather, which is one of the reasons why such a large number of people holiday here. Some of the beaches are attractions in themselves, containing black sand from the eruption of the Teide volcano. In the capital, Santa Cruz, there are many great restaurants and bars dotted around the shops. A specific delicacy here is Tapas, served in bars for your delight, ensuring your stay is especially tasty.
