Located in the south of Africa, and surrounded on all sides by South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe, the country of Botswana has a total population of just over 2 million people, and its capital is Gaborone. With over 70% of the country comprising the Kalahari Desert, the country has a sparse population for its size, but its economy is rapidly growing. Known for its wildlife, the country encloses the Chobe National Park, Moremi Nation Park and the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Spot cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles and lions in one of the parks, or visit some of the local tribes.
