Africa's smallest country lies on its western coastline, and borders Senegal. Riven by the Gambia River, and covering around 11,000 square kilometres, the country has a population of around 1.7 million people. Its capital city is Banjul, and the country's official language is English. With a tropical climate, Gambia is home to the Abuko Nature Reserve, where tourists can spot monkeys and crocodiles. There's also the beautiful beach of Sanyang to explore, the stunning Arch 22 building in Banjul and delicious Atlantic seafood to savour.
