Located in the south-west of Africa, Namibia has a population of 2.1 million people, and its arid landscape comprises the Namib Desert, bush veldt and the Kalahari. It has over 300 days of sunshine per year, and its capital is Windhoek. The country is bordered by South Africa, Botswana, Angola, Zambia and the Atlantic Ocean. Watch the wildlife in Etosha National Park, munch game in Joe's Beer House or marvel at the plunging landscapes along the Fish River Canyon hiking trail.
