South Africa's highest mountain range, home to the Tugela, Orange and Vaal Rivers, the Drakensberg mountains peak at 3,482 metres, and form a UNESCO recognised Heritage Site. They're famous for their rock paintings, the largest collection of this type of art in the world, as well as the second highest waterfall on Earth. The area is abundant in wildlife including antelope and bushbuck, and verdant with flowers and plants making its dynamic landscape perfect for hikers to explore.
