Guide to Guilin

map
In the very southernmost part of China, on the west bank of the Li River, lies the city of Guilin. It has a total population of 1.3 million people, and is known for its incredible landscape, made up of geological features like Elephant Trunk Hill, Lipu Mountains and Seven Star Cave. It's a great base for exploring the picturesque Guangxi Province. Walk through the city square, with its huge atlas and pretty waterfall, head to the Black Hill Botanic Garden or check out stunning sites such as Peach Blossom River and Reed Flute Cave. A natural wonderland.
