Guide to Agra

map
On the banks of the river Yamuna, in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh in India lays the city of Agra, home to nearly 2 million residents. It's most famous for being home to many Mughal built samples of architecture, including no less than three UNESCO recognised sites: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Don't miss Birbal Bhavan, an exemplary pavilion carved from stone and surrounded by beautiful gardens.
