A town in Madhya Pradesh in the centre of India, Chitrakoot is located in the northern Vindhya Mountains. The town has a population of 22,000 people and is famous for the temple and sites there which have been mentioned in Hindu scripture. Its also famous for its culture, history and archaeology. Visit Gupt Godavari, a small cave system considered to be a natural wonder, Kamadgiri, a hill surrounded by temples, and Ramghat, a place of deep significance in Hindu Mythology.
