On the southern coastline of Australia, in southwestern Victoria, lies the small town of Apollo Bay, to the east of Cape Otway by the Barham River. Famous for its coastal location, the town draws crowds every year with its two great festivals, The Apollo Bay Music Festival, and the Great Ocean Sport Festival. For the rest of the year, it sustains a miniscule population of approximately 1800 people. Don't miss a trip to the nearby Mariner's Falls, a stunning, shaded waterfall which can make for a pleasant walk from town.
