Guide to Darwin

map
With a population of 127,000 people, Darwin is a city in Northern Territory, Australia, as well as its capital. It looks out over Darwin harbour, and curiously is closer to five other countries than it is to any other Australian cities. Well known for its vastly multicultural cultural demographic, Darwin is a city of fantastic diversity. Head to the quirky Deckchair Cinema on Darwin Harbour to watch a movie outdoors, and for a true snapshot of everything the region has to offer, visit in August for the Darwin Festival.
