Guide to Port Douglas

map
On Australia's northern coastline lies the town of Port Douglas, in North Queensland, located 70 kilometres from the city of Cairns and well linked to the Daimtree National Park, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daimtree Rainforest. It's known as a tourist resort for its proximity to these natural sites, two of which are World Heritage Sites. Don't miss the fishing, diving, biking and sailing to be done around Four Mile Beach, and head to the Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary to hand-feed their marsupial critters!
