Guide to Torquay

map
On the southwestern coastline of England, in Devon lies the city of Torquay, a seaside resort 20 miles from Exeter with a population which can reach 200,000 people in tourist season and lies to the north of the English Channel. A former home to the writer Agatha Christie, the town is also famous for its warm microclimate. Don't miss out on a visit to Kent's Cavern, a prehistoric cave full of stalactites and mineral pools.
