Located on the far northern stretch of land on New Zealand's North Island, Ninety Mile Beach reaches along its western coastline. It's actually only 55 miles long, but this doesn't seem to detract the many tourists who flock to its sands every year. The desert landscape is popular with body boarders, and is very remote, with hardly any manmade structures to spoil its golden dunes. Arrange a tour with a reputable company such as Fullers Great sights Bay of Islands to fully appreciate the best parts of its landscape.
