A tiny medieval town between Innsbruck and Salzburg, at the base of the Kitzbuhel Alps, with a population of just 8,200 inhabitants, it's a popular ski resort. It has a rich history, and some fine historical buildings, including St Catherine's Church. It's also home to the cable car with the highest elevation from the ground in the world. Don't miss it's incredible skiing conditions and a bathe in the nearby lake Schwarzsee.
