Also known as Pafos, Paphos lies to the southwestern coastline of Cyprus, looking out over the Mediterranean Sea from its large port, and shadowed by the Troodos Mountains. It has a population of around 66,000 people living in its urban areas, and is well known as the birthplace of Greek goddess Aphrodite, as well as being listed as a UNESCO cultural site of interest.
