To the north west of France in the Brittany region is the town of Dinard, a well-liked beach destination with a population of just over 10,000 residents. Once popular with Winston Churchill and birthplace to Lawrence of Arabia, the town is now frequented during summer holidays for its clean, expansive beaches. Though quiet at night, there are plenty of restaurants and bars, a golf course in close proximity and even a casino! Don't miss the festival of British Cinema, held in October every year.
