Guide to La Plagne

map
Situated in the Tarantaise Valley to the south-west of France lies the ski resort of La Plagne. The area reaches an elevation of 3,250 metres and comprises eleven resorts in total, including Montchavin (1,250m), Les Coches (1,450m) and Belle Plagne (2,050m). Spreading across the four communes of Aime, Bellentre, Champagny-en-Vanoise and Macot-la-Plagne the area is a great mix of pistes for beginner to expert skiers. Don't miss the cross country skiing to be had through forest areas, a great way to soak up the surrounding countryside, or chase board thrills in the snow park!
