Guide to Le Mans

map
In the northeast of France, on the Sarthe River lays the city of Le Mans, with a total population of 148,000 people. It's most famous for the famous car race 24 Hours of Le Mans. Along with the remnants of Roman times which can be traced through its streets, Le Mans has an arboretum, several museums and plenty of lovely areas to explore in its Old Town. Don't miss the cathedral in the heart of town, St Julien.
