With a tiny population of just 4,400 people the town of Tipperary in Ireland lies between Limerick and Waterford Cities. Well known as a market town, for its racecourse, and for the World War I Song which takes it for its subject, Tipperary dates back to medieval times. Nearby sights include the Athassel Priory, the picturesque lanscape of the Glen of Aherlow and the Giant's Grave.
