Guide to Waterford

map
Ireland's oldest city, Waterford has a total population of 46,000 people, and lies on the south-eastern coastline of the country, on the River Suir. The city has its own harbour, and its landmark building, Reginald's Tower, is the oldest in Ireland. The city's name informs the famous crystal ware which comes from this area of the world, and today its a great place to relax in one of the many pubs with a pint of Guinness. Don't miss afternoon tea in the Mother's Knee Parlour, a swanky place for a treat!
