You need to be aware that there is more than one Oslo airport. Check the ‘local transport’ section of the guide for more information on the 3 Oslo airports.
Oslo, Norway’s capital is a fairly compact city which is easily explored on foot. With plenty of parks and green spaces it is also a fantastic place for a family city break. There is also plenty of opportunity to get involved in outdoor activities with sailing, kayaking, skiing and ice-skating easily available in or around the city.
Oslo weather is particularly seasonal and you do need to plan carefully for a winter trip. In winter weather in Oslo is predictably snowy with somewhere between 14 and 17 snow days in an average month and temperatures between -2 and -8 on average. In summer Oslo weather could not be different with 7 or 8 hours a day of sunshine and average high temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees.&nbs
