Guide to Warsaw

map
The city of Warsaw is Poland's capital and it's largest, with a population of over 1.7 million people living within its urban limits. Warsaw is in the central part of the country, around 260 kilometres from the Baltic Sea and riven by the Vistula River. Famous for being shaken but never destroyed by various wars, and as a tourist destination, Warsaw is well worth exploring on foot by walking tour. It's also host to several significant international festivals, including its own Film Festival, Jazz Festival and Jewish Culture Festival.
