The fourth largest city in Poland, Wroclaw is the thriving centre of the Lower Silesia region. It also acts as a stepping stone for hikers and ramblers due to its proximity to the country’s most stunning mountain scenery.
The River Odra neatly encircles the city, creating tranquil islets connected by elegant bridges. Indeed, there are more than 100 bridges over the river and numerous island havens.
