Located on the southernmost coastline of Spain on the Mediterranean Sea is the city of Almeria. It's the capital of Andalusia and has a total population of 190,000 people. Recommended by its hot climate, beautiful fortresses and location in the natural resort of Cabo de Gata, the city has some wonderful, untouched beaches, and is a naturally volcanic area. Not only the setting for many spaghetti westerns the area was also used during filming of David Lean's Lawrence of Arabia.
