Guide to Fuengirola

map
In the southern province of Malaga, on Spain's Costa del Sol lies the town of Fuengirola. It has a population of around 72,000 inhabitants and attracts tourists with its warm climate, sandy beaches as well as its port and Roman ruins. As well as the usual beach pursuits (pedal boats, jet skis etc.) tourists can take a ferry ride to Benalmadena's lively nightlife, play golf or hop on the train to Malaga. At night head to the Zoo Bioparc to view some nocturnal nature.
