Feeling famished before your flight? Wing it to Numerus Clausus I, the high-flying restaurant of the High Tech Madrid Aeropuerto - a modern 4-star hotel not far from Madrid Barajas terminals 1, 2 and 3, and to where a free shuttle service will ferry you after the bill’s been covered. Convenient, si? Numerus Clausus I’s smart dark, rather masculine décor is punctuated by fresh white table linen onto which is served your pick of a fine Mediterranean a la carte menu featuring the likes of grilled tenderloin of beef, and magret of duck in a sweet wine sauce. Understandably often busy with frequent-flyer businessfolk, Numerus Clausus I’s bestselling dishes are usually the daily specials. In summer, the restaurant opens up on to a terrace, serving barbecue food.
