Known for its fantastic Seville weather, the capital of Andalucía is becoming an increasingly popular city break destination since a number of budget airlines started flying into Seville airport. Seville’s weather is known for being hot and dry with average summer high’s of 36 and typically no rain at all during the months of July and August. Seville is also a popular day trip from some resorts on the Costa del Sol.
The two most popular sites in Seville are the Real Alcazar, thought by some to rival the Alhambra in Granada and the cathedral. When the architects set out to build the cathedral they planned something so big that future generations would think them mad.
