Guide to Zaragoza

map
Also known as Saragossa, the city of Zaragoza lies to the central northeast of Spain, on the Ebro River. It has a total population of 700,000 inhabitants, and its unique architecture forms a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Due to its scorching climate, there are thoughtfully positioned swimming pools dotted around the city. The city also boasts a unique cuisine; visitors should attempt to sample some of the local dishes such as Huevos al Salmorejo or Borrajas.
