Guide to Leeds

map
With a population of 443,000 people living in its urban areas, the city of Leeds is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the UK. It's located in West Yorkshire in England, on the river Aire and in the eastern foothills of the Pennines. It is well known for its excellent nightlife and eclectic architecture. It's also well linked to the Yorkshire Dales and Peak District, as well as York and Harrogate. As well as many beautiful churches, mills and colossal Kirkstall Abbey, don't miss Middleton Railway, the oldest working railway in the world!
