Guide to Reading

map
The city of Reading lies to the South East of England, in the country of Berkshire. It lies between the rivers Thames and Kennet, and is around 41 miles from London. It has a total population of 232,000 people. Reading is home to its own university, is a centre of commerce and draws crowds annually to its summer music festival. Walk along the picturesque banks of the Thames, head down the river on a steamer or if you can't get tickets for the main event, check out the city's Ale and Jazz festival which runs from the 19th to the 21st of July.
