Located in the north of Yorkshire, England, on the country's eastern coast, Whitby lies on the River Esk, and is surrounded by the Yorkshire moors. The town has a population of 13,000 inhabitants, and is well known for its Abbey, as an important historical port, and as a tourism centre. It's also the famous landing point of Dracula in Bram Stoker's novel of the same name. Don't miss the organised ghost walks around the town, atmospheric for sceptics, downright chilling for everyone else.
