The historical city of Lviv lies to the West of the Ukraine, and has a population of 760,000 inhabitants. Its walled old town area is a recognised World Heritage Site, and the city itself is famous for being a strongly cultural place, and highly authentic. As well as a plethora of churches and religious buildings dating back to medieval times, there's the giant cemetery of Lychakivsky Tsvyntar and a range of museums dealing in everything from relics to Pharmacy.
