There are no direct trains services between Brisbane and Melbourne. The best connecting service between the two cities changes twice in Casino and Strathfield, leaving Brisbane Roma Street at 1420 and arriving in Melbourne the following day at 1855. It is possible to take the 0630 train to Sydney arriving at 2106 and then take a train the following day to Melbourne. Consider breaking the journey in Sydney for longer than one night.
