This train connects to a number of direct services between Hat Yai and Bangkok, the earlier departs at 1435 and arrives in Bangkok at 0900, the fastest departs at 1620 and arrives at 0540. Journey times are from 32 hours including waiting times. Consider breaking this journey at least once, options include Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia or the Thai islands of Koh Samui, Koh Phagnan and Koh Tao which are all on or near the route.
