After waiting several hours a second train departs Kuala Lumpur Sentral at 2110 for Hat Yai, arriving the next day at 1035. This train connects to a number of direct services between Hat Yai and Bangkok, the earlier departs at 1435 and arrives in Bangkok at 0900, the fastest departs at 1620 and arrives at 0540. Journey times are from 46 hours including waiting times.
