There are no direct train services between Singapore and Bangkok, there are a minimum of 2 changes between the two. A direct train departs Singapore for Kuala Lumpur Sentral at 0745 daily and arrives in KL at 1503. After waiting several hours a second train departs Kuala Lumpur Sentral at 2110 for Hat Yai, arriving the next day at 1035. This train connects to a number of direct services between Hat Yai and Bangkok, the earlier departs at 1435 and arrives in Bangkok at 0900, the fastest departs at 1620 and arrives at 0540. Journey times are from 46 hours including waiting times. Consider breaking this journey at least once, options include Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia or the Thai islands of Koh Samui, Koh Phagnan and Koh Tao which are all on or near the route.
