There are no direct train service between Bangkok and Singapore, it is necessary to change trains at Butterworth in Malaysia as well as Kuala Lumpur if attempting to complete the journey in one go.
The Bangkok to Butterworth train departs Bangkok at 1445 and arrives the next day in Butterworth at 1351. The direct train to Singapore from Butterworth does not leave until 0745 (arriving at 2200) the following day, you should consider breaking the journey at Penang which is only 20 minutes from Butterworth by ferry.
Should you wish to travel all the way through, however, then wait for the Kuala Lumpur train at 2330 (arrives KL at 0635). At Kuala Lumpur Sentral change again for the 0825 train to Singapore arriving 1605. Journey time is around 50 hours including waiting time in Butterworth and KL. Spending time in Penang breaks the trip into two train rides of 23 hours and 15.5 hours.
