10 trains daily with journey times of around 8 - 10 hours. It's best to get an early morning train (0805) or one of the night trains (1930 or 2250) to avoid arriving in the middle of the night. A sleeper berth starts at around 498 baht for the night trains with seats at around 250 baht.
