Guide to Dead Sea

map
A salt lake bordered by Jordan and Israel, the Dead Sea is the world's lowest geographical point, at 423 metres below sea level. Although no animals can thrive in its saline waters, the Dead Sea has long been considered a health resort for humans. It's possible to float on the surface of the Dead Sea with ease and the mud on its banks is said to contain healing minerals. If possible, visit the Dead Sea Panoramic Complex, which is just as valuable for its wonderful cliff top view as its wealth of knowledge about the natural phenomenon.
