To confirm your entry visit http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/visa_wizard.html
Note: Be careful when entering the USA as the department of homeland security does not have the reputation as the most welcoming of organizations. Make sure you paper work is in order and if you passport has ever be declared lost or stolen speak to you local embassy before attempting to use it to enter the country. And do not attempt any jokes or use any inflammatory terms when passing through passport control. A sense of humour has no doubt led to some people spending a number of hours in “the room” before being allowed to go on there way.
If you do not qualify for the VWP is likely you will have to obtain a Visa from an USA Embassy for which you will have to attend an interview in person.
