Guide to Nashville

map
Tennessee's capital, Nashville is situated on the Cumberland River in Davidson County. It's well known for its connections to the music industry, in particular country music, as Nashville's second largest city after Memphis, and as home to the Grand Ole Opry weekly music event. It has a total population of 635,000 people living in its urban area. Don't miss the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, which often has live performances, and allows small children free admission!
