At the confluence of the Beberibe and Capibribe Rivers and the Atlantic Ocean lies the city of Revife, one of the largest in Brazil with over 1.4 million inhabitants living in the urban areas. Well known for being pitted with islands, rivers and bridges, the cityscape is dynamic, and it's also one of the largest ports on the Atlantic Ocean. Its beaches are astounding - the Boa Viagem in particular is notoriously impeccable and the perfect place to relax with some coconut water.
