Guide to Bogota

map
With around 8.5 million inhabitants, Columbia's capital is also its largest city. Located on a high plateau, around 2640 metres above sea level, the city is washed to the south by the Bogota River. Among the larger cities of the world, Bogota is rich in cultural venues, with over 62 art galleries and 150 monuments. Don't miss the proliferation of beautiful restaurants, the botanic gardens or a hop around the flea market at Usaquen!
