Lake Titicaca lies on the border between Bolivia and Peru, high in the Andes. It's the largest lake in South America, fed by five major river systems and covering 8300 square kilometres. It floats 44 Uros, manmade floating reed islands which are inhabited by humans, which draw attention from visitors. There are also several larger, naturally occurring island, including Isla de la Luna, Taquile and Amantani.
