Guide to Kota Kinabalu

map
On the northwest coast of Samoa, looking out over the South China Sea lays the city of Kota Kinabalu. It has six islands spreading out from the city's coastline, including Gata Island and Manukan. The area is closely linked to Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park, and the city itself has a population of 462,000 people. It's known as a growing resort, and for its proximity to Mount Kinabalu. Don't miss a deep sea fishing trip - it's one of the cheapest places in Malaysia to charter a boat for the day!
